Happy Lunar New Year!

It's not today but close. It's Feb 3rd this year and the year of the rabbit. It's also the lunar year 4708. Here is a handy link to color pages for the current Lunar New Year that I use every year.

I traditionally go to my girls' classes near Lunar New Year with a tray of prosperity for the students to try, do a simple craft, talk about the Lunar New Year celebrations and read a book. This year I won't be able to bring in the tray so I'll just bring in some of the typical "junk" food & candy from a local Asian store.
