I received an email from Amy at Immedium asking us to talk about their cool Asian children's books. They were kind enough to send us pdf's of the books. They have 3 childrens books with more coming out this year!

The Octonauts: The Octonauts $15.95 Written and illustrated by Meomi This is a beautifully illustrated book. I LOVE all the sea creatures in this book.

The Year of the Dog: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac $15.95 Written by Oliver Chin and illustrated by Jeremiah Alcorn The illustrations kind of remind me of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. I think that its just right for young kids (not too long and nice illustrations). I might have to get this one since I know someone who was born in the year of the dog!

The Year of the Pig: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac $15.95 Written by Oliver Chin and illustrated by Jeremiah Alcorn This is the second book of the in the annual series Tales of the Chinese Zodiac. Both this book and Year of the Dog give some insight as to the characteristics of the animals. I'm looking forward to the Year of the Monkey and Snake for two girls I know!
